Aug 18 @ 10:30 am – 12:30 pm

Come attend one of the special “Family & Friends Day” services…8:00 a.m. or 10:30 a.m. with a family or friend.  Or…just come on your own.  We’d love to have you worship with us.  The guest speaker for this at both services will be Rev. Dr. Elliece Smith Bryant, Assistant Minister, St. Paul Baptist Church, Capitol Heights, MD.  Music for the 8:00 a.m. service will be provided by the Clinton United Methodist Church Men’s Choir.  Music for the 10:30 a.m. service will be provided by their Gospel Choir.  A light lunch and fellowship will be immediately following the 10:30 a.m. service in the church’s Multipurpose Room.

EGGSTRAVAGANZA – SATURDAY APRIL 3, 2021 10:00 AM TO 12 NOON
Apr 3 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

The Eggstravaganza will be held between 10:00 A.m. and 12:00 Noon Saturday, 3 April 2021.

During the event, all participants will follow the following procedures:

  1. Car will drive in (if there is a line, car will join at the end of the line–i.e. Do not park)
  2. When allowed or appropriate, car will stop in front of the entrance as directed (one car at a time).
  3. When directed, all children in the car will get out of the car and proceed to the egg farm to collect eggs
  4. Upon completion, children will return to the front of the church, where they will exchange their eggs for a bag of candy, a bag of chips, and a drink (which will be placed on tables).
  5. Children will return and get back in the car
  6. Car will drive off (i.e. continue towards the back of the church), turn around, and exit the church property

Notes:

  1. Safety is very important … there is no reason for children (or anyone) to run or rush, and parents need to be extremely cautious when entering and exiting the parking lot
  2. Children should only touch the bags they are taking from each table (due to the COVID-19 Pandemic)
  3. Parents will ensure children understand what to do (parents may exit the car and assist children as necessary)
  4. Parents should not allow children to get out of the car until it’s their turn to proceed to the egg farm
  5. Wearing a mask is mandatory for everyone (unless it’s an extremely tiny child)

Thanks … and God bless
