Clinton United Methodist Church - Prayer Garden Project

We greet you in the name of our Lord and SAVIOUR Jesus Christ! We are very excited to share with you and solicit your support for a new community project approved by the Church Council in 2020. This project, a Prayer Garden, is in keeping with our Vision Statement: To be a church without walls. The Prayer Garden will welcome all to come and pray, meditate, reflect, or just to spend some quiet time.

The CUMC Prayer Garden will be located on the west lawn of the church’s grounds, strategically built around the existing three crosses. Plans for the Prayer Garden will include a 6’ wide brick wheelchair accessible walkway leading from the parking lot to the garden, four to five garden benches for seating near the crosses, a wide variety of flowers and plants that are native to the region, and solar-powered pathway lights and up-lighting fixtures to illuminate the walkway and the center cross at night.

As disciples of Christ, your pledged support will help offset the cost of the construction. We invite you to honor or memorialize your loved ones with the purchase of commemorative bricks personalized and engraved with your words. You can order a brick to be installed into the brick pathway that leads to the Prayer Garden.
